Conference Call with an Iranian Dissident
We would like to invite all of our readers, including our student ambassadors, to participate in a conference call with an Iranian activist who specializes in cyber activism and currently works for Deutsche Welle Persian.
Ehsan Noruzi and Solmaz Sharif, Advancing Human Right’s Iran Program and Social Media Manager, will be discussing the impact of the Internet on Iranian social movements.
The call will take place on Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at 11 am EST. If you are interested in joining the discussion, please let us know as soon as possible as space is limited. This is the eleventh conversation in our conference call series aimed at amplifying the voices of pro-democracy online activists in the Middle East.
If you would like to RSVP for a spot on the conference call, please email clarke@advancinghumanrights.org who will provide details on how to join the call. Also, email us if you cannot join the call, but you have questions for Ehsan Noruzi and we will ask them for you.
