Conference Call with Iranian Dissident Parvaneh Vahidmanesh

We would like to invite all of our readers, including our student ambassadors, to participate in a conference call with an Iranian activist who has been working as Iran program manager at Freedom House. Parvaneh Vahidmanesh is also an active cyber dissident through her Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Parvaneh Vahidmanesh and Solmaz Sharif, CyberDissidents.org’s Iran Program Manager, will be discussing the current political situation in Iran and the impact of the Internet on social movements.

The call will take place on Thursday, August 02, 2012 at 11 am. If you are interested in joining the discussion, please let us know as soon as possible as the number of spots is limited. This is the eleventh conversation in our conference call series in recent months. These calls are aimed at amplifying the voices of pro-democracy online activists in the Middle East.

Please send your questions and requests to RSVP for a spot on the conference call to clarke@advancinghumanrights.org. We will get in touch with you about the details of the call.
