Nepalese Facebook campaign to improve the Bir Hospital
Common Youth Stand Up, a Nepalese group on Facebook, has taken up the responsibility of cleaning the Bir Hospital (National Hospital) in Nepal.The Facebook movement in Nepal stood up for political change and now is trying to take a new direction. Bir Hospital is the oldest and one of the busiest hospitals in Nepal. The organizers see this as a first step towards engaging the same people who got involved in political Facebook activism to get involved in civil society activism.
