Tor is a tool activists and journalists (and other people concerned about privacy) use to stay anonymous on the Internet. The Tor network relies on volunteers to donate bandwidth. The more people who run relays, the faster the Tor network will be. If you are looking for a way to help Syrian activists, setting up a Tor relay is a good place to start. Setting up a Tor relay (or using Tor to stay anonymous) is totally legal.
